Yellow wound?

I got a cut and its starting to scab. The more shallow area of the wound is pinkish/red but in the middle towards the deeper part it is yellow. It's not puss, as the entire wound already has hard scabbing tissue over it and there are no liquids coming from it. There are no signs of infection (excessive pain, foul odor, puss, or hottness around the wound) I am just concerned about the yellow color. What could this be? Is it a sign of infection?

That's just the healing process and how it looks.  I wouldn't worry about it.  It's hard which means it's a cab.  You can put something like neosport on it or clean it again with  soap and water.  But it is probably just how the scab looks.  If you are concerned though, you can have it checked by a doctor. good luck
