dizziness pressure in head

I have been dealing with this issue for about one year.  I originally went to the ER in Sept for racing heart rate, fatigue, jumpy eyes, not able to focus.  I have had numerous test (ECG, EEG, VNG, MRI, full blood work).  I was convinced it was a brain tumor or MS as a lot of the symptoms are the same.  My doctor prescribed Zoloft and Zanex and for a long time i would not take them.  Finally i did as i was so tired of feeling so physically bad.  the zoloft made my heart race even more so i stopped it over 6 months ago. Another thing that drives me nuts is i constantly have pressure in my head and i look like i haven't slept in months.  i constantly take my glasses on and off and cover my eyes.  i am so uncomfortable that i have a hard time reading and concentrating.  i also have a fever that comes and goes and food seems to get stuck as i am swallowing.  I also hear my eyes clicking which drives me nuts and hear my heartbeat in my ears.  Also i am dizzy and have fatigue even if i sleep well.  I am not at all stressed or anxious unless your subconscious causes this. oh also, i feel like i get a low grade fever off and on.   i was laid off six months ago but am supposed to start working next week and am not sure if i will be able to.   Any ideas???  i feel like my head is not getting oxygen.  Should i ask my chiropractor to check my discs in my neck?  My doc thinks it is anxiety but once again i am not anxious.  I think i need a second opinion.

yes! your subconscious definitely causes stress and anxiety! you dont have to be aware of it for it to be there. a lot of what your describing does sound like anxiety, but you may also be having other issues as well. zoloft and zanex are not the best things to be prescribed for anxiety, you will most likely want to go to a psychiatrist and be evaluated for anxiety and have them give you a more fitting medication, if thats what it is, and i say that only because it sounds like youve been dealing with this for a while, and not knowing what is wrong for so long will definitely cause anxiety issues. so im sure you have anxiety, but i cant tell you if its just from worrying about this problem for so long or not. but common issues can be a pinched nerve or slipped disc, i noticed you mention wearing glasses, eye strain can cause these problems, you might want to get your prescription reevaluated. another thing that will cause these issues is nasal polyps (cysts in the sinuses), which require a trip to the ENT dr. theres probably other issues that may cause these problems, adrenal issues, arterial issues, etc. but what ive listed is your best first step. also, make sure you get thorough blood testing if you havent already.

I would suggest consulting an ENT Specialist who deals with balance/inner ear disorders and have SCDS (Super Canal Dehiscence Syndrome) ruled out.
