Have a great Xmas and a healthy new year. :)
thanks alot, u ve been of great help, am worry free for now
Keep an eye on things and see how things go.
Should you experience testicular pain again, then see the doctor.
You can still see your doctor on Monday if you have an appointment and discuss the issue with him. He will tell you the diagnosis and whether things should be left as they are or refer you to a specialist.
If it was a bacterial infection, it appears that the antibiotic did its work and that is why you are feeling better each day.
besides, I feel very little of no pain now guess am getting much better
I will see him on Monday, but the pain is reducing as the each pass by, could it be the infection is healing
As far as I can tell, apart from the trace of protein, everything else seems fine. What did your doctor say?
Best make an appointment with your doctor or urologist. In the UK we have to be referred through a doctor to a specialist. It would be wise to get an examination to find the cause of the problem.
Best wishes and seasonal greetings.
urine analysis result
appearance pale, amber, clear
pH:6.0
specific gravity: 1.020
protein: Trace
sugar: nil
bile pigment: nil
bile salt: nil
deposits.
w.b.c: 2-3 per 1/6 field
r.b c: nil
casts: nil
culture: yielded no significant bacterial growth after 48 hours incubation
The only way to find out for definite what is causing the problem that you have is by a medical examination.
Whether your urine test comes back clear or not, it would still be wise to get checked out if the problem does not settle.
Best wishes.
1.how possible will it be that an infection will show up, since antibiotics have been used.
I want to have children, I don't pray varicocele should be cause coz
the pain is intermittent, it radiates to anal and scrotum junction at times, bulb of penis(corpus spongiosum), hamstring, no bag of warms, don't tink all dis is related to varicocele I pray
the only thing is that the pain is intermittent,I wish I get totally over this soon.
A urine culture would show up if you have any leucocytes, protein, a specific bacteria, blood, pH level, density, may be a few others.
If leucocytes and protein are detected that would indicate an infection.
Blood in a man's urine specimen may be from a urinary tract infection or a problem with the prostate gland.
A varicocele is an enlargement of the veins in the scrotum and a urine culture test is not show whether there is or isn't a problem with that.
The redness and pain in the bulb of your penis is called Balanitis.
Make sure that you keep good hygiene.
When will you know the results of your urine test?
Best wishes.
Just visited the hospital today,so I was sent for urine culture test. Is there any possibility that bacteria infection could be so strong,if the test should come out to be an infection. U know I ve take n antibiotics twice, first wen I hrd suprapubic pain which healed after the drugs and then a week after wen the testicular pain started. Besides I don't think varicocele cause atime pain rediate behind my scrotum @the anorectal junction, bulb of my penis @times and hamstring, haven't felt the hamstring pain for awhile now
Did the doctor examine you when you went? On the symptoms that you presented to your doctor and if the doctor examined your testicles he would have said if you had a varicocele.
If you are still having discomfort in your testicles, you should go back to see your doctor to examine you. If the diagnosis shows that you do have a varicocele you may find a jock strap (scrotal support) or snug underwear may help relieve the pain or discomfort. If the pain and discomfort continues or other symptoms occur, you may need further treatment or an operation called a varicocelectomy to correct a varicocele
Even if you do not have a varicocele, but you are experience discomfort, you may find that wearing a job strap or snug underwear may help.
Best wishes.
okay but it don't sound like varicocele
A hamstring problem should have no connection to you feeling any suprapubic pains or sensations.
Hamstring problems can take a long time to heal. Did you discuss your hamstring problem with your doctor? You would need to be given the correct type of exercises to do to help your hamstring problem. A pain or ache that goes on or is intermittent for a long time is called chronic, which means long lasting.
When you say "it's like an urge", do you mean an urge to go to urinate?
If that is the case, you really need to make an appointment to see your doctor again to check your urine for any infections and possibly a blood test to check you kidney function. The antibiotic that you were on may not have got rid of all the bacteria or it may have been not the right antibiotic for the bacteria that you had. Make sure that you drink plenty of water.
Best wishes.
it is not really a tickling sensation, it's like an urge, could this be healing process, I feeling much better as the day goes by
thanks for ur concern, even though the pain is reducing each day buh I still feeling tickling sensation with a slight pain in my hamstring muscle, could dis be healing process, the pain just come maybe once or twice a day and last for 30mins and disappears with rest, I ve read alot of blogs, people complaining there pains don't leave, it's getting me worried
Don't mess about with your testicles, let them heal. As you have just finished an antibiotic see how you get on over the next few days and if there is no improvement, get back to see the doctor again.
Pain in the testicles is called Orchitis. Wear a support if it helps.
Best wishes.
