food and plastic fork left in food

Last night I ordered food sent to my hotel room.  I ate some, then put the leftovers -- covered in the plastic container -- in the refrigerator. This morning I ate them and then realized I'd used the same plastic fork that was left in the container last night, alongside the food.  How worried should be I be about food poisoning?  I know this can be dangerous with metal -- and probably not good with plastic -- but I think I should be OK. Any thoughts?

The food, BTW, was hummus.  No meat, no poultry, no fish.

If you don't feel ill by now, you're fine.  The risk would be bacterial infection, but there probably wasn't much time or much material left on the fork to grow sufficient bacteria.  In any case, a case of food poisoning hits rather quickly, so you would know by now if you got sick from this event.

I wouldn't worry about it, you had it in the fridge, plus it was just for over-night.
