Feel my heartbeat when laying down.

Is this normal?  I don't feel it when exercising.  Just while at rest?

It's not going fast or slow.  It's just normal. I bought a Bp checker and at rest I have slightly elevated at 131/82.

I get this too along with tachycardia.  Is your heart beating fast or just pounding heavier?

There are a number of reasons why this can happen.  Sometimes there is no explanation.  In some cases, it's related to a thyroid and/or hormone imbalance.  You should also check your blood pressure and heart rate.
