I have itching in my penis, mild pain when i urinate and little pass. What is the cause?
Well, there is a possibility of picking up a fungal or bacterial problem from a sexual partner. But sometimes you can also get these things even without having sex.
If you are worried that you may have a sexually transmitted disease other than the usual fungal and bacterial problem, then see your GUM clinic to get yourself checked out. I do not know what the time periods are to see if you have picked up the different STDs.
Unless you have a regular and loyal partner, you will already know this, then to avoid picking up any nasties, it is always best be safe than sorry by using protection. You can get different types of condoms these days and even ones that are latex free if you get reactions to latex.
The previous advice that I gave in my other post still applies (use no soap etc).

Two most likely possibilities are a urinary tract infection or a sexually transmitted infection. You should see your doctor to have a urine sample and swap for possible infections.
You may have a bladder infection and possibly a fungal infection as well.
I suggested you go and see your doctor and take a urine sample with you. The doctor will do a simple urine stick test or will send the urine to be analysed at the laboratory. He will be able to see straight away on the urine stick if you have Cystitis or any infection. And you will need a course of antibiotics for this.
The itching may be a irritation due to the acidic urine, or may be a fungal infection. Fungal infections can cause itching and these are treated by using antifungal creams. The doctor can take a swab and have it analysed to see if it is a fungal problem and will prescribe the appropriate cream for you if that is what you have. You can buy antifungal creams to use on the genitals from the pharmacist, but I would wait and talk to your doctor about your urine problem and the itching at the same time.
In the meantime, drink plenty of water, 2-3 litres is usually recommended, more if you sweat or workout. You can add a teaspoonful of bicarbonate of soda to a glass of water and drink this. You can do this 3 times with an hour in between each dose. This neutralises the acidity in the urine that is causing the discomfort.
You may have very fine kidney stones, (they can pass as very fine grains of sand) but as you have not complained of any other pains elsewhere, I think this is unlikely.
