inhaled some ice cream- could this cause dry drowning?

Yesterday while eating ice cream, I somehow inhaled/choked on it. I immediately started hacking, which normally fixes the problem, but this time it didn't.

I tried to take a breath in, and I started wheezing. I couldn't breathe properly at all.

I was with friends, and tried to say "help me" but the words wouldn't come out. All that came out was more wheezing.

I continued coughing and eventually it stopped, and I could talk and breathe again. However, since then, I've been very worried that I might be "dry drowning"- where liquid enters your lungs, and you die slowly.

I have anxiety, so I know this might be silly, but I feel like I need reassurance.

Since the incident I've been feeling short of breath, and like I can't breathe, which I've heard is a symptom of this type of drowning. It's also a symptom of anxiety though, and it's an anxiety symptom that I often have.

It's been about 24 hours since this happened, and I don't know if I am being ridiculous, or if I am being logical and should go to the hospital.

If you are a doctor, or someone who knows about choking/breathing, I would really appreciate hearing your opinion.

Sweetie, one time I blew taco out of my nose.  I was chewing, threw my head back like a knucklehead and sneezed which opened whatever it is that separates things and taco was coming out of my nose.  Hurt like a you know what.  No long term harm.  :>)  No, you didn't dry drown from the experience.  good luck
