light headed,anxiety while driving

I'm light headed, vision narrows, anxiety when driving beyond 45mph.  Doesn't happen when i'm a passenger. I have to slow down when it occurs, sometimes hitting the breaks nervously. Feels like im gonna pass out. Im on losartan for high blood pressure. Dr's have done blood work, eye doctor didnt see anything wrong, sugar levels are in normal range. I dont have to be thinking about any stressful things for it to happen. Any suggestions?

I did not realize that Cargiver, that is good info, and, DLB74, I would definitely  follow his recommendation, he knows what he talks about.

You need to have a neurological consult and request a flicker test. There is a unique form of epilepsy that only manifests itself when there is flicker, such as watching the rotating blades of a fan or seeing telephone poles whiz rapidly by. It isn't the Losartan. The inexpensive test, which is definitive, involves a technician exposing you to a wide range of flicker stimuli. The exact etiology is unknown. Helicopter pilots often experience the same symptoms when gazing through the arc of the rotating blades for an extended period of time. Curiously, sometimes polarized glasses will stop the symptoms.

I stopped taking losartan September 8,still having symptoms.  Been on losartan about 4 years. I have asked the dr. Could it be that,he said  no. I stopped myself to see if it's the problem. I have a home blood pressure monitor & it's been in the120-128/78-82 range. Problem been going on about year..i've been drinking beet juice, garlic since i stopped taking pressure meds to keep pressure in check

Your blood pressure might be over-treated. I would be inclined to discontinue you Losartan and have a 24 blood pressure monitoring done in a few weeks time. This will give you the true picture. In any case cut back with your BP until you see your doctor again.
