I also have very low blood pressure sometimes as low as 90/40, so as she mentioned above, that could also be a part of the problem. But with the low BP, I usually find I suffer more with dizziness from standing too fast rather than the cold. I do think that when it deals with body temps, you have to consider anything that has to do with the hormones which affect your hypothalamus - since they do help to regulate body temps.

I am cold all of the time even when it is 80 outside. I have to wear pants and a sweatshirt. i have very low BP and a lot of pain. this is why I was told I am cold, however they just realized I am having issues with my thyroid. I agree it may be thyroid. good luck and hopefully you can warm up

I have this too, and discovered I had a small tumour in my pituitary gland, and also that I have hyperthyroidism. I do believe if there are problems with getting warm, your "internal furnace" or your hypothalamus which regulates body temperature may be affected. For me, my particular problems are associated with my hypothalamus and therefore I get cold often. Also because I have a hyperthyroid, I get flashes of hot too. Doesn't make for a comfortable situation!
Good luck - but speak to your doctor.
