Any time you have chest pain it's a cause for concern. I recommend going to the hospital. It may not be your heart but please do not take a chance with your health. It could be acid reflux but you really need to find out now.
You need to see a dr, immediately, my dad died in april in his sleep and he had been having chest pains for months. Even if it turns out to be nothing, it's better safe than sorry, chest pains are not to be taken lightly. Also anxiety will cause you to have chest pains, and panic attacks, i have blacked out before while having a panic attack.
If you are having chest pain that goes to the shoulders, you should be evaluated by a doctor. These symptoms could be a sign that you are having a heart attack or angina (a pre-heart attack). The pain from this is usually a heaviness in the chest, sometimes associated with shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, and /or sweating. It can spread to the shoulders, the jaw, or the left arm. Another cause of chest pain that radiates to the shoulder blades could be a tear in the aorta, which is a medical emergency.
It would be most safe if you were evaluated as soon as possible.
