staph or is my doctor wrong

I have been going through this issue with my underarms for over 2 years now I get these boils that are very painful and eventually pop leaving a small hole the doctors say its a staph infection and have put me on 4 different sets of antibiotics but it does not totally go away. It comes back and no matter how painful it gets they don't seem to care they say it will go away on its own and here I am 2 years later!! They have not done any tests to find out if its staph, they told me don't shave that will get rid of it (didn't work), don't use soap (hello not working), and no one else in my home shows any signs of having it so clearly its not contagious. I don't know what to do any more its like every time i lift my arms people see it, it hurts and its leaving bright red scars. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Also skin issues are very difficult for even doctors to diagnosis as one persons infection looks very different than another, Give your doc a break but take charge by looking for answers like you are now, with anything you are dealing with,

Do you have large breasts? I was getting the same thing a few years ago then I realized when I turned over at night I was crushing my boob under me. Once I started readjusting"the girls" after I turned over, then they went away. Just a thought, even tho it sounds like yours may be something more serious, might be worth a try. I also started washing extra careful under my breasts and in arm pits.

hi, this is something u should do and may help this problem but will help many others and prevent lots due to your taking so many antibiotics which kill bad bacteria and GUESS WHAT = they kill your good bacteria in your gut which is the vast majority of your immune system.
so for best price go to vitamin store buy enough to take 200 billion cultures daily x 2 wks, then 100 x 2 wks, 50, and stop and stay at 25 billion daily;
NOW u need to separate the time of day for probiotics from antibiotics by 3 hours OR u will just waste both
an added benefit will be if u have G.I. problems ; gas, bloating, diarrhea,, flutu etc, they will probably go away
. .
as to arm pit keep it dry and u might ask about a steroid cream
good luck

Are you seeing a Dermatologist for this?

What ATBs were prescribed for you?  Any cultures done?

Definitely don't use hair remover or shave with a razorblade; it will aggravate this.

it could just be a cyst if you shave with a razor it can come often if i occur use a hot rag and some epsom salt and hold it on there for a while repeat or a endgrown hair epsom salt work for that as well you can find that endgrown hair and pull it out with twizzers and use the hot rag and epsom salt. but try using hair remover if using razor that helps as well
