Good morning.
From the day Saturday I am presenting my right tonsil tonsillitis is swollen and white plates. I went to the doctor and was prescribed amoxicillin for 7 days, but I'm on the 5th and I still feel the pain.
It may take a few days to take effect the antibiotic?

Gargle with warm salt water. That can help remove some of the bacteria and white patches. Also warm tea with lemon helps....
