LONG DESCRIPTION: What should I do to get the medical attention that I need?

I have struggled with an opiate addiction for a little over a year. To make a long story short, I had already made the decision to get clean and had a plan in place for the steps I would need to take to begin a treatment plan when I noticed that my right arm was swollen, red, and there was quite obviously an abscess underneath my skin. I am prone to staph and abscesses so I took some antibiotics and ibuprofen and hoped it would go away, but it didn't. I ended up in the ER and underwent surgery to remove it and remained in the hospital for several days so they could monitor me and ensure that the infection had not spread. I currently have an open wound that I pack daily and it's from about an inch away from the crease/my elbow and an inch away from my wrist. I'm back at work and trying to resume my normal routine, but the pain is preventing me from doing that. I can't sleep at night because of the sharp, shooting pain, I am miserable at work because my job is 100% on my feet and moving around, and I was only given 20 10 mg Percocets for the pain. I spoke to my doctor about my concerns and she told me to alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen and that there wasn't anything more that they could do--basically, I would have to suck it up till my wound closes up. It's healing "beautifully, one of the best looking wounds I have ever seen" and that was her direct quote, so it isn't from infection or other problems with healing. I understand that any doctor would be reluctant to refill a narcotic pain medicine for someone who just underwent surgery due to complications with IV drug use, but I have GOT to do something about this pain so I can at least sleep more than a fitful 2 hours a night, finish my whole shift without having to sneak off to the bathroom and cry, etc. Should I see another doctor and just hope they won't chalk me up to a pill seeker? Are there legit methods for killing the pain outside of using prescription drugs? I'm growing desperate and impatient and my frustration is just worsening because I feel like nobody will listen and take me seriously. Any advice is appreciated.
