Hello and welcome to the forum. Thank you for your question.  A lower midline incision typically does not grant access to view or touch the liver but an upper midline incision would.  What type of procedure did you have?  What is your concern with regards to the liver?  We'll try to help.

Hi thnq for responding.i had part of omentum with excess fat dropped and stuck on small intestines.doctor did vertical lower midline incision he removed that omental part and as we had discussed before he checked whether the layer has deposited on upper part too he put his fingers till diaphragm i felt it i was given spinal injection so i was awake.now when i look at my stitches i began to wonder how he did it?he said he has cut wide enough
Okay, then yes. If he opened a bit upper midline as well, then that is possible.  I hope you are recovering well from your procedure!
