I do love olive oil, I even use it on my face too. And yes for part of my 2nd pregnancy I used it on my belly. I actually had mixed up a few oils together. I think it was Vitamin E oil and olive oil along with some essential oil to kind of cover the scent. I feel like I am buttering up a big old Turkey Ball sometimes and basting myself every night, but it does help. I find it helps with not causing extreme itching with my skin stretching so much.
Wow, that's the first time I have heard of using dark green olive oil - or any olive oil for that matter - interesting! Maybe I'll give it a try, too!
A co-worker of mine just got done with chemo and radiation. She has stretch marks from her treatment really bad. Her nurse told her to use the dark green olive oil you can buy at the grocery store. She said it works wonders on stretch marks, especially if you're pregnant. I plan on using this. Can't beat all natural!
Palmer's cocoa butter oil and lotion are my favorite products. This time around, I took a suggestion and also tried the Walgreen's brand of bio-oil, but now I have stretch marks. :-( The first time around I only used Palmer's and never got any stretch marks. So, I guess for me, Palmer's is the best.
