Ovarian

Hi,
I am 27 yrs, no history of any pregnancy or miscarriage. Trying to conceive from last 6 months. Last month in Dec'09, during my medical checkups Doctor found a cyst in my right ovary. as per the doctor it is a blood cyst of 30 - 44mm in size, and it is not a harmful cyst. Now in just second month of finding that cyst doctor advised me to go for laproscopic operation to remove the cyst. My question is should I wait for 1-2 months more to see if it gets shrink automatically or should I go for the operation as per the doctor's advice?

Hi!
There is no harm in waiting presuming that the cyst has not increased in size since the last check up. It is VERY common for young women to have cysts of this type, and very RARE for them to be "serious", so I often advise them to wait up to 3-4 months to have surgery.  ESPECIALLY if you don't have children yet, because surgery can lead to the formation of scar tissue which can reduce fertility.
If the cyst is still present after 3 months, it is not likely to go away on its own, and at that point it would be reasonable to consider surgery.  Also, if it is increasing in size, or causing symptoms such as pain or irregular cycles, it should be removed.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!

Thankx Doctor, but this really scared me that sergery may reduce my fertility. If I go for surgery after 3-4 months, Is then also it effects my fertility?
Doctor Pls clear that if this cyst doesn't cause any pain or irregular cycles even afer 3-4 months, then does it effects my conception?
Actuly my cycle starts from 20th and it stays for 3days. I am now very eager to get pregnent. Can u pls calculate my best days of conception in a month?
