pelvic pain

Hello I am 29 and am in alot of pain In My pelvic area. I have had 3 hernias repaired in my belly button area this feels similar but I don't feel a bubble.  My pain is 4 fingers below my belly button . i have had 2 c sections last was 5 years ago. I have regular periods. I was told I had a severe bacterial infection and have been on antibiotics.  I also had  an ultrasound done by a for lack of a Better word photographer. Then a Dr looked over the pics. Then typed up a diagnosis that was given to nurse practitioner.   Results were fluid in pelvis as well as a cyst. That looks benign. About 3 cm.   I have been experiencing this pain for more than a month. and steadily its gotten worse I only have a nurse practitioner for a Dr.  She redid the pap today to c if the infection is gone. But I never felt relief with first round of antibiotics so she gave me another. I have not had any discharge nor odor. She actually stated each pap that my cervix and everything look very clean and that it's strange to have the infection to that extent without any signs. I guess I want to know if a cyst can cause pain lifting. moving. sexually. And constantly a stinging burning pulling pain.hurts to use the restroom as well.No fever. Little over tired .  I think it's adhesions grabbing something.  My mother had severe Web like scar tissue build up from one c section that once removed she had No more pain.  I am frustrated and depressed.  Anything u could think even just a timeframe of how long this could last would b appreciated . What would u recomnend?

Thank you so much for your input.  I'm waiting for an appt with a gyno should be next week. Hopefully they will be willing to help. Should I be concerned about light  spotting ? which is not a norm for me. I had my cycle when I  had my ultrasound done 10 days ago. also if this is useful I am on birth control pills  and have been over a year after having a mirena iud removed. I felt decent yesterday pain wise  and this morning it's back to how it was with the spotting.

Hi!
If you were my patient, have to consider surgery at this point.  If you have not responded to antibiotics, that would suggest that the cause is not infection.  The 3 cm cyst shown on ultrasound might or might not be contributing to the problem--if it is you might be able to wait it out.
Because of your history of several surgeries, I would be concerned about adhesions (scar tissue), and would be very reluctant to consider laparoscopy.  Therefore, if the pain continued to worsen, I would probably have to consider laparotomy (open surgery) to go in and "clean things up in there".
If your pain improves on its own, you might be able to avoid surgery.
Good luck!
