Unprotected Oral Sex

Dear Dr. Gonzalez
I received unprotected Oral sex 4 weeks tomorrow from a sex worker in Ecuador, in other words she gave me a blow job, and ended with a hand job  it lasted for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. I never have unprotected sex or unprotected oral sex outside my marriage  This is the first time and the anxiety is really killing me
I am not sure about my risks of STD or HIV what are my risks of HIV??
you think I should get a HIV test??
I now have a dry cough,  every time I  cough there is phlegm,  I also have sore ears now and again, and a bit of a sore throat.
people tell me I should move on with my life and that there is no risk involved with my oral sex experience

Hello

You are not at risk of acquiring HIV through being sucked so you can stopp worrying about that part.

You are potentially at risk of other STD's including gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis or herpes and you should see a doctor and get checked out for these before you have unprotected sex with your wife again.

Best wishes, Sean

Testing for sexually transmitted infections / diseases
You should see a doctor and get checked out for other STD's (such as those already recommended by a doctor - gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis or herpes)

Drawing some conclusions based on symptoms is a waste of time. You need to visit your doctor for SPI testing.
