Golden Shower from Sex Worker

Good Afternoon Doctors. First Congratulations on the site.

I am a lover of BDSM. During years of my life I practiced the golden shower with ease, especially knowing that the urine does not transmit HIV. Whenever I am tested, because I am a blood donor and always my tests are negative for all STDs.

My doubt is that three weeks ago I met a Domme (sex worker) and drank enough your urine. I was with some mouth sores.

02 days later I felt symptoms of a mild cold (it was more like a cold). Fever, mild body aches, runny nose and facial pain. Since then I was worried it was ARS. I've been reading quite topical at the site and I was more relaxed because I did not have sore throat or rash.

However yesterday I noticed two wounds one in each leg. Looks like an insect bite. I scratched and bled. I was again very worried. Today makes 21 days of the incident.

Today makes 21 days and I'm still not 100% healed (never seen a cold last as long, so my concern)

Did not know Domme, so do not know if she had any STD, discharge, blood in urine, or any element that put me at risk. Like I said you had some mouth sores.

About 45 minutes after I washed my mouth.

What are my risk on a numerical scale? thank you

The rash fo the ARS is a generalized slightly erythematous rash that covers the entire body.  It does nto look like bug bites.

It is time for this anxiety-driven thread to end.  EWH

Sorry, we do not look at pictures on this site. All too often they are misleading.  No change in my advice or assessment.  EWH

Look at the pictures:

Perhaps nou failed to notice- I said LESS than 1% and LIKELY CLOSE TO ZERO.  You are welcome to test if you wish- there is no medical reason to do so however. EWH

Thanks Doc

This risk by nearly 1% do you think I should be tested? Those injured in the leg can be rash? I searched for photos of ARS rash on the internet, but I saw so many I do not know how they are.

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be pleased to comment.  Even with mouth sores present at the time of your golden shower, there is no reason to be concerned about acquisition of HIV or any other STI.  Urine is typically sterile and in fact has antimicrobial activity.  I am confident that your recent cold was not due to an STI acquired from your golden shower.  In some women other bacteria may be present in urine which might occasionally cause on infection but this too is most unlikely.  My advice is to not worry that you acquired infection from the golden shower. Numerically I would expect your risk from the event you describe is less than 1% and likely close to zero.

I hope this comment is helpful.  EWH
