Please Help: Very Nervous after guy ejaculated onto my buttocks and exterior anus hole

I'm a 25 year old gay male who is very health cautious.

Last night I had a one night stand with a Dominican guy who I met on the Internet. In his profile he said he was only looking for drug and disease free guys.

Before sex, I did sniff poppers - we used a condom and lube - I was the bottom. I did notice a little bit of blood on the condom and my anus was sore because he was large in size. I did not perform oral sex on him at all.

He asked me to spread my legs and bend over so he could ejaculate behind me. He still had the condom on and I thought he was going to leave it on.

All of a sudden I felt him ejaculate into the outside interior of my anus from behind me with no penetration. Only one or two squirts made it into the exterior of my hole and I immediately washed with soap and water.

I got real upset - and he explained to me he had been tested in December (It is February now) and would be willing to show me his results from Dec. He also told me he would be willing to get tested again and go with me to show me his results.

He seems like he's being honest but it doesn't make me any less nervous.

After a long session of anal sex - how high is my risk of contracting hiv,now that this guy had ejaculated onto outer-interior lining of my anus? Don't the poppers and anal sex prior open me up more to contract it? Even though it was the exterior of my hole - isint the lining still the same and just as vulnerable as it is on the inside of my anus?

I'm very nervous please help.

Re: poppers, I think the main reasons use increases risk of contracting HIV are 1. use reduces inhibitions, and 2. people who use poppers are generally more likely to engage in riskier activities.

Congratulations on your commitment to safe sex.  That is good both for you and your partners.  Now you just need to work on the details.

Your partner was probably not infected.  Most people tell the truth and his offers to show you his test results make it even more likely that he was telling the truth and thus not infected.

Poppers do not clearly and directly increase risk for getting HIV.

It is normal for a certain amount of genital secretions to be spread between partners even during protected sex.  Thus most persons probably have some degree of exposure even when condom protected.  Your exposure was a bit more than others but still low risk and not a concern.

Hope this is helpful.  EWH

thank you very much for your response. i was worried that his ejaculatory secretion could have permeated the lining more easily due to the anal sex and poppers.  That in itself is just an uncomfortable thought.

im assuming hes being honest , but you never, ever know.

Thank you again , and I appreciate you understanding my concern.
