HIV+ and fungal infection

1998 – moved from EU to L.A. (CA)
2003-2017 – worked in old deteriorated bldgs., with constant exposures to lead, mold, asbestos, dust, sewage, bird droppings, soil, etc. Every 2-4 yrs experienced yeast infection on my penis.
2004 – Contracted gonorrhea, HIV (CD4 in 700’s)
2005 – started taking HIV medications
2006 – got bitten by brown recluse & received antibiotic, which caused genital yeast infection
2008 - diagnosed w/ anal warts (got appointment with specialist to remove them 6 months later; by then it became mild-high grade anal dysplasia (AIN 1) with HPV changes carcinoma in situ). Is there no regulations regarding time frames for such treatments as that could prevent
epidemic outbursts?
2012 (Summer) – after spending 4 days in Palm Springs I noticed pimple like thing on my chin that wouldn’t heal for months.
2012 (Fall) - my primary provider - reg. nurse started giving me various diagnosis over period of 7 mths (except test for strap virus) & prescribing me the following: Ceftriaxone Sodium 250 mg (injection), Restoril 15 MG (oral), Adacel 5-2-15.5 LF-MCG/0.5 (intramusc. susp), Bactrim DS 800-160 MG (oral), Hibiclens 4% (ext liquid), Permethrin 5% (ext) (when it got on open sores I screamed from horrific pain), Ibuprofen 800 MG (oral), Amoxicillin 500 MG (oral), DiphenhydrAMINE HCI 25 MG (oral), Ativan 0.5 MG (oral),  HydroCHLOROthiazide 12.5 MG (oral) Each of them made my skin worse as pimples resulted in open sores that spread on my lower legs, my arms, face (one time when wiping face, eyebrow fell off), neck, genitals, top of head (lasted 4 years) & slightly on chest, torso & back. I mentioned to my RN that maybe I got something from my dog who had some roundworms like leisures at that time. She said that only rabbies can be transferred from dog to human. A few homeopathics suggested that I have Candidiasis or fungal infections. I asked my RN to order tests for that, but her response was that I am imagining things & should seek a psychiatrist.
2013 (April) – I left that medical provider in fear to end up in a ‘nuthouse’. I took my health in my own hands, spent thousands $ on books, body cleanses (for parasites, kidneys, bowel, liver…), natural pills, organic food, etc. By 2016 I was finally back to normal.
2017 (July) -  lost my job, which caused me eating worse quality of food.
2017 (October) - tested positive for gonorrhea & got treated. Felt extremely fatigue (sleeping 16 to 22 h/day). Mental health nurse first insisted that I am depressed, which is the cause of fatigueness. After assuring her, I am not, and asking to check for vitamin levels in my blood, she agreed. I was totally deprived of vitamins B12, B9, B6, D, which was easy to take care of.
2018 (Jan) - tested positive for gonorrhea again & got treated with injection + pills. During that time I’ve been baking a lot w/ fresh yeast + sanding furniture w/o gloves or mask.
2018 (Feb) – nails getting almost daily overgrown with surrounding ‘skin’, started splitting, breaking…  I noticed unpleasant odor from my uncircumcised penis (regardless of the frequency of showering), pale/whitish discharge from penis, bursts of appetite & cravings (esp. after 9 pm & whe I wake up; gained 8 lbs in 2 mths), familiar ‘pimples’ appearing on my face & neck, itchy & red eyes & blurry vision additionally to my keratoconus and astigmatism.
I asked my dr. to test me for candida and fungus, he said that Western medicine doesn’t believe into that unless HIV patient has CD4 count under 200 and is dying. Does CD4 count of 405 excludes possibility of  having candidiasis or any other opportunistic (fungal) infection? Is it possible to have candida without oral thrush? How can be someone tested for candida?
2018 (March) - ordered ‘Candida Relief’ & ‘Ringworm Killer’  Within few days I noticed wht & blk lines leading from the corners of my eyes; nails started normalizing. Familiar pain of left wrist & right hip appeared. Any input, suggestions on my description & my photos at https://goo.gl/vtTjQQ? Can you recommend any medical facilities in L.A., where I can get tested to dis/approve my self-diagnosis?
Can prior fungal infections make a person at a higher risk to contract STDs &HIV?

Hi mkh9,

So, here is my update:
As I have told you I  have been treated like I am crazy, on drugs, suicidal, imagining things, etc for the past 7 years. Finally last month I contacted CDC and Director of CA Health Department without mentioning my doctor or clinic. After gathering some valid information I decided to give to my new doctor one last chance. I sent him an Email with a request to be referred to infectious diseases specialist, which he is not, although working at HIV clinic. I guess he decided not to do the same as RNP who I had 7 years ago as a primary provider, and he referred me to inf. diseases specialist. On Friday evening before my appointment, I pulled out of my anus about two inches long flat thing that was moving. I put it in a glass to take it with me to my appointment, but then I changed my mind as I didn't want any deja-vu situations (when 7 yrs ago the dermatologist was taking pictures on his iPad from 3 ft away and never came closer and took any samples of the skin). Then on Sunday evening, my face felt like a nest of things crawling under the skin into my mouth, eyeballs, ears, etc. Usually, I would be able to stop them with Iodine or Tea Tree Oil or Apple Cider Vinegar, but not that night. I thought that that may be caused because of my constipation when all of a sudden I had to go. For some reason, I decided to shine a LED flashlight in the bowl like I was doing daily 7 years ago. I saw small white things starting emerging slightly from the stools. I took my phone and took pictures.

At my appointment the next morning I mentioned some white and transparent stuff observed in my stools the night before in addition to my face being covered in a severe rash. She asked if I took any photos of it and I have shown her my phone. Instantly she diagnosed me with being infected by pinworms and Strongyloides, which a person can get from eating infected lettuce or potato (usually from Latin America). She prescribed Albenza Oral Tablet 200 MG (2 pills twice a day for 7 days), and Fluconazole 100MG for at least 3 months. I have finished Albenza two days ago. In two weeks I need to get my stools tested for parasites and yeast/fungal infection again, which I am sure will be there. I might have eliminated some of the ones in the colon, but my face, crotch, and feet feel even more infested now. Since because of infectious diseases doctor is on vacation until June, I decided to try to add some help to this cure myself by starting with supplements and zapping  It helped me 7 years ago (together with a strict Candida diet). Let's see if this nightmare ever really end while I am still being alive.

There are nights that I am afraid to go to sleep when worms have some 'crazy houseworming parties', people like me get judged as junkies. If any doctors would need to deal with rejections, humiliations, self-doubt,  crawling sensations, thousands and thousands of dollar spent on homeopathic remedies, forcing oneself not to see what it feels obvious, etc.  I think that they would not be able to handle it and to look themselves in the mirror without realizing how many lives they damaged, how many relationships destroyed, and for how many people the infection might have been fatal.

I.

P.S.
I am intending to inform CA Health Department that over the last 7 years I might have unknowingly infected several dozens of others just because I was constantly being told that I am imagining and that diseases like that do not exist... So, with time I believed them and tried to get into sexual encounters, which took at least a day if not more of preparation as I felt like I wouldn't be able to get fully clean and enjoy sex whenever possible. Therefore if I planned I went wild. That wild action most likely spreads these worms around.  :(

Hello, well we are not doctors on here but I am a microbiologist. You have quite a medical history. I am not an HIV expert. If you do have HIV were you tested and confirmed positive? If so then I don't know any particular doctors in Los Angeles but these links might help:

https://www.keckmedicine.org/positive-care/

https://www.cdc.gov/std/hiv/stdfact-std-hiv-detailed.htm

The CDC has other things on HIV that might help.

I personally don't look at links off of MedHelp. It is my policy as I don't want to get a computer virus and also I have been exposed to a lot of bad photos and other things. I usually don't get a lot out of these anyway.
So I'm sorry about that.

I am not an expert in HIV. There is an HIV forum on here if you haven't tried it I would suggest asking them these particular questions.

My opinion is that if you are HIV positive and have symptoms and are on medication you probably are generally immunocompromised. I don't know about the new medications as well as I should but that isn't my specialty. I think though everyone is different and if you are finding you have yeast it is usually very itch and white. But a lot of STD's can present symptoms like that so it is always best to get tested if you suspect these things.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
mkh9

Thank you. I have contacted Keck Medicineearlier today and I'm waiting for a response. I have also contacted CDC last week, but they are simply saying that I should talk to my primary doctor. :)
Hi, I hope Keck gives you some direction. Do you have insurance? If so they should at least give you a referral. CDC won't really do much that way. I just gave you a reference for you to read regarding the association between STD's and HIV. If you want more scientific publications I can try and find some for you.Let me know how the Keck medical center works out. There are other centers. I think a doctor I knew used to work there and worked on HIV patients. What you want is a referral to a good doctor that works on HIV patients. Most infectious disease doctors will know about this but I think Keck specializes in that. We'll see if that turns out to be helpful. I know you have gotten the run around. Try to be patient see what happens.
regards,
mkh9
By the way, if you go to USC it is in a very bad part of town. So be careful and don't go at night or too early in the morning. It is probably located near LACUSC, (which is the L.A. county hospital).

You can try UCLA as well.
