5 tests in three months ( all negative) Am I crazy?

Hi, I had sex with a girl while I was in mexico ( She was Canadian of unknown status) Im almost 100% sure I used A condom the whole time, but I was pretty drunk.  This all happened in October 2010.  I slept with here only one time.  About four days after I got a sore throat and my tung was kinda white and I had dry eyes), so I went online and checked-out my symptoms (stupid move)  After looking for an hour or two, I convinced my self that I had contracted HIV, so I got tested in mexico 6 days after I had slept with her.  The test came back negative.  I felt relieved, not know anything about a window period, so When I got home I did some more research online and found-out about the three month window period.  This is where I lost my mind.  I told my Wife about what had happened down South.  She took it quite well.  I still had many problems with it though, so I got tested at my Doctor in Canada (blood test  for most std's including HIV)  After two weeks the test came back negative.  My eyes where still dry and red and I got a sinus infection, which made me even crazier.  I got test at the 6 week mark (Rapid test)  and I tested negative again, but I still have dry eyes and tingles all over my body.  Then I got tested again at 12 week (Rapid test) Negative.  I still have the same symptoms plus I think I have developed some small whit patches on my chest and arms ( I dont know if they where there before)  I get tested again at  3 months and 3 days (rapid test) Negative, but I still have all the same symptoms.  My wife thinks Im crazy, Im starting to think Im crazy.  I have been going to counseling twice a month, but I have lost all drive in life, its been hard on all aspects of my life.  I know this is all my fault, but can anyone help me out on this. Just an after thought, but I moved into a new house when I got back from mexico (all hardwood and gas heat, might explain the dryness? I have also gained 40lbs)

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusively negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusively negative results or a no-risk situation will be based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
    * After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
    * Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
    * Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.

Quick question:  I just had a yearly physical, Im still having strange symptoms.  All my tests came back normal.  My question is, if i had HIV would it have caused my tests to come back abnormal.  (I was not tested fo HIV again, since the 3 1/2 month mark)

Thank you.

If you are concerned see your doctor, they have nothing to do with HIV.

I have mouth sores, for days now.  My eyes are still red and dry.  Does this have anything to do with HIV?

You're fine. In Canada the window period is 12 weeks. If after 12 weeks you test negative you are conclusively negative. If you are in Toronto head over to Hassle Free Clinic to get a test done as they are not only the best STD clinic in Canada, but provide rapid tests.

In Canada it is always best to check out an STD testing centre for HIV/STDs. Unfortunately, GPs do not keep up to date with HIV testing periods. Many still recommend the six months, which is outdated. My friend's doctor told him 6 months to a year to test positive, which is ridiculous.

Relax. You're HIV negative.

No reason to be worried, you have a conclusive 3 month test. No need to seek any other Dr's or have any other tests.

Peaple give anxiety too much credit anxiety will give night sweats, joint pain not enlarged lymph nodes or fungal infections.A lot of drs are ignorant about hiv ...its advisable to consult an HIV specialist .Especially one who is actually involved in the hot zone treating patents, not someone confined to the office who globe trots and and reads about it without experiencing it on the ground.

My doctor does not seem to much about HIV.  I know we have a crappy health care system, but HIV has been around 30+ years.  Should he not know more?

Is my doctor wrong, he said I should get tested at a year?  Is this a Canadian thing?  He also said I could have fungal infection, can anxiety cause that?

Thank you.  I should probably find out what is causing all this other stuff then.  Can Anxiety do all that much to the body?
