http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV---International/4th-Generation-Test-at-6-weeks/show/1410930

There is lots of comment about the supposed sudden disappearance of p24 antigen at 28 days. This does not happen and the p24 element will remain elevated for at least 8 to 10 weeks and if you look hard enough it is present through the remainder of the illness.

P24 is a by-product of viral replication. As viral replication increases with initial infection then p24 is produced in huge amounts. As viral replication slows as your body hopefully attempts to regain control p24 will drop. However, the majority of people infected with HIV will develop antibdoies detectable by third generation tests at 4 weeks and over 99% by 6 weeks. 1st and 2nd generation HIV tests - still in use in certain parts of the world (including parts of the US until 2005) were poor, gave variable results and were unreliable.

thanks much appreciated for your reply

I hope there will be no problem i am unnecessarily paranoid which is understandable
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV---Prevention/Time-frame-P24-Antigen-to-antibody/show/2038395
antigen will be detectable at 2-3 weeks and will be detectable till 8 week
once antibodies starts antigen will be undetectable or low
until antibodies are present antigen cannot be low or undetectable
am i right
So six week test is conclusive for HIV1&2abs +P24ag
Please correct me if am wrong

No, your tests are CONCLUSIVE. At 28 days, the HIV P24 combo test is conclusive. You are just paranoid which is understandable but the fact remains you are negative.

Please help me i am having supreme confusion at 44 days HIV1&2abs +P24ag test ,from this test is there any chance for  false negative
because i red antigen will be not detected due to low level and  it may be fails to detect the antibodies due low level
is this true
due to antigen only detectable at six week i done my test at 44 days
