Is it possible for ARS symptoms to strike a mere 40 hours after exposure?

I know 1 to 4 weeks is the norm but there are anecdotal stories of ARS beginning 4, 5, or even 3 days after exposure.
I'm just wondering if less than 2 days is possible or is it, essentially, impossible?
