About to test

I'm going for an Orasure test today and wanted to know if 12 weeks and
2 days is good enough to be conclusive?

I also want to know if any of the following would cause a false positive:
-Sinus Infection
-Lack of sleep
-a fever
-eating 4 day old BBQ with a smell of lighter fluid last night
-Taking clatatin 2 days ago
-brushing teeth about 2 hours before the test

I've been doing pretty good lately, but from time to time,I worry about the needle stick.Since I realize that I started itching all over exactly 1 week after it happened.I tested negative 1 month after that incident, should I test again?

I called a couple of hours ago an got my results. They were negative!!! Since then my focus has come back completely. I was bit nervous at first though because they had me on hold for like 30 minutes and ended up dropping the call 3 times.Anyway,I guess this means that I can move on?

How about she's not educated in HIV transmission. In the history of HIV infection not one person has been infected via having oral sex.

Your posts just smacks of someone with severe anxiety issues and irrational thought processes.  Come on now.....do you not agree that you worrying about whether or not:

eating 4 day old BBQ with a smell of lighter fluid last night

would affect a test result is NOT a rational thought???  You are consumed with crippling anxiety over a NO risk situation.  ZERO, zilch, nada.  Not even "low" risk.  You were NEVER at risk...not from the oral...and in no way did you have blood drawn with a dirty needle.

Time for you to focus your energies on what matters here....getting yourself psychological help right away rather than testing for a virus you were never at risk for.  It doesn't matter what your 12 week result shows...b/c you are so anxiety-ridden, I highly suspect you will question the result, or continue to dream up new scenarios.

Seriously...get yourself some help.  99% of your "symptoms" are caused by anxiety.  I promise you.  YOU are making yourself ill, not HIV.
