Accidentally stepped on Needle

I was walking causually in the park with my sport shoes on and suddenly I stepped upon an Syringe with a plastic cover on the needle. The glass measuring part got broke with my shoes. Am I at risk ? Do I need to get tested ? I am sure the needle has the plastic cover on !

Reread the advice for the answer. I'm sure you know that zero is the lowest number so I don't know why you asking if there is a lower one.

This is not a risk for HIV.  HIV is transmitted in very specific ways.  Sharing IV drug needles is one of them as well as unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  But sharing IV drug needles is different than stepping on a needle.  The end of a used needle is exposed to air which inactivates any hiv virus if there was any.  Injecting is different than sticking yourself. You had zero risk for HIV from what you describe.
