Alcohol swab effect hiv or hepatitis test

Hello had unprotected encounter got tested at 12 weeks via blood draw method

1) when nurse applies  alcohol swab on your arm if  and the alcohol didn’t dry out and nurse inserted needle in my vein for blood draw .

The alcohol would have gone into my blood sample (blood collection tube )

Will that make my hiv test inaccurate ?

2) does the alcohol on my arm needs to dry out for hiv test to be accurate ?

Because my nurse didn’t wait for alcohol swab to dry out

I have one more question after this thank your for your patience

Your question was fully answered that your test was accurate and that you will not get HIV from what you describe or that your result would be influenced by what you describe.

The alcohol swab would have no consequence or interference of your test. None.  It didn't need to dry and I would not be concerned that your test is accurate. What were you getting an HIV test for?  What was your exposure?

Guitar Rox I’m fortunate to get a reply from you

Risk was condom break anal sex with a female

1) alcohol even if it was wet on my injection site nurse inserted the needle any alcohol went into my blood sample tube  test will still be accurate

2) as mentioned I want to ask one last thing in one blood draw

nurse touched my injection site after alcohol swab was rubbed without gloves to FEEL VEIN

If blood was on nurse hand or if nurse has cut on finger  then blood can be  On my injection site (arm ).

Once nurse inserted needle for blood draw any blood that would go Into the needle because blood might be on my arm (injection site )

My blood draw test for hiv hepatitis c b will still be accurate ? even if I fear blood might get mixed in my blood collection tube

Have you understood the Question?

This will clear all my doubts .

Plz note : the alcohol not drying or the blood on hand mixed in sample my test will be accurate for HIV and hepatitis b c

All three viruses
You are describing a normal blood draw procedure that is used worldwide.  There is nothing at all unusual about your blood draw, and you can rest assured that the nurse did the blood draw properly and that your tests are accurate.  Microscopic amounts of alcohol or blood would have zero effect on your tests.
Thank you for your kind reply I wish to clarify

1) I don’t know if it was microscopic

I meant if nurse had blood on hand and she touched my injection site then once needle inserted for blood draw

Any blood that would go into my blood sample because blood might be on my arm (injection site ) where the nurse touched   that will not contaminate my  blood sample (blood collection tube )

My hiv hepatitis b c tests will still be reliable ? Accurate?  Why ? Because these tests are highly accurate?

2) I wanted to ask is it common also to sometimes touch the injection site after alcohol swab has been applied . And then after that NOT  re apply alcohol swab again

If so then I’m sure I’m fine

The answer to your question is NOT going to change.  I'll copy and paste it for you:  "You are describing a normal blood draw procedure that is used worldwide.  There is nothing at all unusual about your blood draw, and you can rest assured that the nurse did the blood draw properly and that your tests are accurate.  Microscopic amounts of alcohol or blood would have zero effect on your tests."  THAT is the answer and the only answer. This is not the hepatitis forum but yes, that is also the same answer. NO RISK
Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  ( fingers, maybe blood, etc.). You will be happy to learn that you had no risk, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the worst that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
No one got hiv from what you did during 40 years of hiv history and no one will get it in the next 40 years of your life either. You can do what you did any time and be safe.
Question 1. Read about the 3 above because there was no penetrating penis involved nor a hollow needle used to inject.
Question 2. This is not an hep forum so you have to go there to ask that question, but common sense can answer that one. For example, you have no medical training but the nurse and her boss does and the hospital protocols ensure that the test was done properly for an accurate result.  You should stop wasting your time thinking that you, without any medical training!,  can identify procedural issues - that no one else in the hospital has noticed!

It is time to move on as you promised to do on May 10, instead of wasting your time trying to become equivalent to a medical professional, despite zero medical training.
Thanks for the reply GUITAR ROX

Im not talking about RISK

Im talking about my hiv hepatitis b c test result will still be accurate?

Even if  i fear nurse when nurse inserted needle blood might got mixed into my blood sample nurse touched my injection site im worried that blood might me on my injection site(where you insert needle )  from her hands

That went into needle and into my blood collection tube sample

But still my test report will still be accurate for hiv hepatitis b c THIS will not effect my hiv hepatitis b c test

You understood what I’m trying to say ?

Thanks
question was answered.  You are stuck in an anxiety loop. If you don't have a risk for HIV, you won't get HIV.  That's pretty simple. And this is the HIV forum .  HIV ONLY.   But am saying your hepatitis fears are also anxiety driven.   NORMAL BLOOD DRAW.  So, you are just allowing anxiety to make you imagine things. You didn't get hiv or hepatitis from what you describe. This is irrational anxiety.
Guitar Rox I highly appreciate your reply

But MY RISK was UNPROTECTED anal sex with a female condom broke

1) my tests we expensive so I wish to ask if they are accurate

Which I asked if alcohol swab hasn’t dried out on my arm nurse inserts needle even if alcohol went into my sample it will have zero impact on my hiv hepatitis b c test even if alcohol went into my sample

2) I just wanted to clarify nurse touched the injection site before inserting needle if blood got on my injection site  after applying alcohol swab  which is not ALLOWED because nurse hands might have blood on it

Then blood would go into my blood sample (blood collection tube ) when nurse insert needle for blood draw

Even still my hiv hepatitis b c will be accurate ?  Or this will make them false ?

Even if little blood got mixed this way ?

Have you understood my question

I’m not talking about RISK I’m talking about Testing accuracy.

Many thanks

You guys are authentic plz help on this
