Am I at risk for hiv e?

Hi, I'm 18, about 6-7 weeks ago I was playing football (soccer) in my school yard, and at one time I fell into a hedge (Some of our teachers say there has been found syringes in there before). I couldn't really feel anything special besides the pain when I landed on the ground. It was only really my arm that went inside the hedge, not the rest of my body. I think I had a shirt on that was covering my arm, but not completely sure. When I got up and pulled it back, I saw a little scratch and a very very tiny reddish dot in the middle of my arm. It didn't bleed, it was just reddish. But I didn't clean it or anything.

Now, after 6 or 7 weeks, I've had a little sore throat for around 7 days (it's on and off, but it's there most of the time) and the other days some joint pain and a little headache (2-3 days). Could this be the symptoms of hiv, that I maybe landed in a syringe / needle or what? I'm quite scared and don't know if I should see a doctor.

What do you think?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't know much about it, just really worried.. have a bit of OCD, and grew up in a place with relatively many junkies, so I've always been worried about it. I appreciate your help though and if you think there's no reason to visit the doctors, the I prolly won't do that. :-)

Are you sure? Okay, but if it hit me, I'm not sure if it was on the ground or IN the hedge, if that makes a difference. If someone just threw it in the branches / leaves.. I didn't see anything at all :o

No risk.

You can't become infected with HIV from syringes laying on the ground, because the virus on the tip of the needle is inactive and can't infect you.
