Another (perhaps pointless) question

Hi-
I had an encounter with another male (who claims he got tested two weeks ago and was negative) yesterday (I'm a male myself). We grinded (ground?) against one another, genitalia out.  Both of us are uncircumcised, and heeded safe sex. Actually, that was the extent of it (the grinding).

I know it's a bit unreasonable to worry, but I believe at one point, I may have used my backside to grind against him (sitting on him) and, while I don't believe my anus was exposed to his frontal area, I can't be too sure. I know earlier in the day, when I had used the restroom, I had chafed the area in the back, and he had a lot of pre-ejaculate that was coming out.

Forgive me for the awkwardness of the story, but am I at risk, in case he had rubbed his pre-fluid against an abraised anus?

Thank you in advance for your help- Still learning what I can about this.

It sounds like you are talking about something called frottage.  This is not a risk.

Unless he penetrated you or you penetrated him with your penis unprotected then you have nothing to worry about.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child
