Are these signs of HIV?

I found out about a month ago that someone of whom I thought was exclusively having sex with me (he even stated that he was) was being sexually active with another woman as well.

Now I gave him oral the last time i saw him. and for some reason a few days after I gave him oral my tonsils suddenly became swollen.

I felt sick and started to get a headache. Now my tonsils or throat did not hurt it just felt...weird.

Outside of that I haven't had any other symptoms.

Now the thing is,the night I gave him oral I found out the following day that he had sex with another woman two days before. Which is absolutely discussing. So he was sexually active with her the very day before I had sex with him.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with chlamydia and one of the symptoms I had was swollen throat. Not sore but swollen. Kinda felt like I had a lump in my throat when I swallowed but that can be anxiety or common cold symptoms. That happened from a similar situation . if your unsure if your partner is faithful than you should take a std test and use condoms. I recommend you have a full std screen and speak with your partner

Hi, oral sex isn't a risk. You also can't go by symptoms for Hiv. Hiv is a very hard disease to spread. You might want to get checked of for other stds. Their are many stds that cause swollen throat and headache. Just take a HIV duo test or any other 4th generation test at 4-6 weeks for accurate results. I'm sure you are negative
