Cunninglus to Transgender escort - HIV escort

Hi!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I am really scared with the following exposure and your risk assessment would be much appreciated!

A week ago, I met with a Transgender escort and I performed cunninglus to her vagina for 8-9 seconds.
I only licked the surface of vagina with my tongue without penetrating it, however she was wet! She didn't come.

No other activities taken place.

The day after I went to a sex clinic to request PEP and after assessing my mouth, they decided that PEP is not recommended in my case.

However, the day after ( 2 days post oral exposure) I started experiencing sore throat till now.

I am so scared that I got HIV given that my tongue / mouth came in contact with her wet vagina ( fluids??).

Can you please assess my risk?? I am really really scared!

Your question has been fully answered that you had zero risk.

The clinic that said no PEP was absolutely right.  As well, as no test needed because this is NOT a risk for HIV transmission. You can not get HIV from giving oral to someone.  Air and saliva inactivate the virus.  The ONLY risks for HIV are to have unprotected, penetrating vaginal or anal intercourse or share IV drug needles.  Your sore throat has NOTHING to do with this.  Viral sore throats happen all the time.  UNRELATED.  So, no worry, no risk and no reason to test.

Thank you for your quick response! Really appreciated it!

However, in the scientific literature there are documented cases from oral sex. Is this not the case?

Apologies for asking again.
That is NOT the case.  NOT a single, proven case of HIV transmitting from this activity in ALL the history of HIV.  You won't be the first one, I promise.
Thank you so much!

Last question from my side.

I check the stats and you are right, that applies when performing cunninglus to a woman's vagina. However, in the transgender's vagina (post operation) case I don't know from biology point of view(vaginal fluids or pre-cum/semen??) if this falls under the fellatio group (Blowjob)  and in that case the risk level is  different?
come on now.  Let's use our logic.  It's not a risk because of air and saliva regardless of the vagina 'type'.  No risk.
Blow job, also ORAL SEX, is no risk.  Please look re read the risks given to you.  Those are the ONLY proven risks.  That's it, oral sex or any variety is NOT a risk for HIV>
Thank you mate! Really appreciated it! Wishing you a great holiday and a bright New Year!
Happy New Year!

Got all std test (including HIV 4th Gen - DUO) 11 days post this exposure and all came back Negative except Chlamydia/Gonorrhea which will be ready by Monday.

I am really really concerned given that since day 2 post exposure I have developed a sore and dry mouth which only gets worse.

I am thinking to take a HIV PCR test tomorrow ( day 14 post exposure) and another HIV 4th Gen DUO at day 28 post exposure.

I am really really worried and scared given that I read posts from members on the POZ forums who claim that contracted HIV via oral sex!!
4th gen is good at the 28 days mark.

As GR said, you cannot get HIV from oral sex alone. It just does not happen.

Lets say you were the only one to get HIV (you are not) ARS symptoms tend to come all at once and not just bits here and there plus dry mouth is not a symptom. They are both symptoms of anxiety mind.

Relax.
This is a copy from an admin from the POZ forums...

There is no saliva present in the vagina or the anus for a start. Saliva contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and make it impossible for it to infect a new cell.

The cells that hiv can infect are very specific cells and they are not present in any great quantity in the mouth/throat. They are, however, very much present in the vagina and anus.

Our mouths are designed to filter out many different pathogens. They have to be... just think of all the bacteria etc that goes into your mouth on any given day. Your mouth and skin are very good defense barriers against all sorts - including hiv.

Taking a load of hiv infected semen into your mouth MIGHT be a risk if you have VERY bad oral hygiene. It's mainly a risk that falls into the category of theoretical. To put that into perspective, it is also a theoretical risk that you will be hit by a meteorite the next time you step out of your house. Does that keep you in bed?

Just chill. You were NEVER at a real risk.
The only symptom I have is dry mouth.

I guess from biology point of view a transgenders vagina can only be wet only with pre-cum fluids which puts me into risk even theoretical.

I know about the 4th Gen being conclusive at 28 days post exposure that’s why I am thinking to take an HIV PCR test tomorrow (14 days post exposure ) and the 4th gen one 14 days later.

I am seriously in such a great anxiety, never experienced such a dry mouth before.
Peter it is time to stop worrying and accept the science - you had no risk. Move on from hiv and stop wasting your time trying to turn your mouth into a hiv testing device. Likely the dry mouth is in your imagination from fear making you overanalyze your body.

Doctors can't diagnose hiv from symptoms, so no one here pays attention to them and neither should you. Your last sentence identifies the only problem that you have and which you are using to continue with the nonsensical idea of multiple testing for a disease you had no risk for "I am seriously in such a great anxiety." Consider a talk with a therapist because you have ignored everything GuitarR said and just keep posting your unscientific fear diagnosis.

If the TS had Covid, which is highly infectious,  you would have contracted it though, so your priorities are misplaced worrying about a fragile hiv virus (that can't infect anyone else in 40 years of history) infecting you.
Thank you guys!

I know that is the anxiety working on the background non stop.

Thank you for all your responses!

I will try to be patient and wait 2 more weeks to do the 4th Gen DUO test for peace of mind.

Consider therapy instead because you might not believe the scientific test result since you do not believe the science.
