Hiv 6 week test
Sir, one of my friend got hiv test after 45 days of exposure and result is negative, he want to know that it's enough or he need again test after 12 weeks, and is there any probabilities of a 6 week negative result turn into positive in 12 weeks, if yes then how much probabilities.
Sir, he don't know it was 4th generation test or not, a blood was taken from his arm in a tube and they give the result in 45 miniut.
In result mentioned antibodies test and Result shows
HIV 1 Negative
HIV 2 Negative
Please tell that is 4th generation or any other test

He will have to call the lab but 45 minutes I am guessing it isn't 4th gen. Any test is conclusive at 3 months.
4 weeks is conclusive with a 4th generation duo test. No need to test again if he has a conclusive result.
