CONDOM SLIP and HIV CONCERN

Dear Soctor

I was with a CSW last night and after many years opted to do this in a drunken state and it was very stupid of me. So there was lip kissing unprotected blowjob for 10 seconds and protected vaginal sex. But the girl decided to remove my condom and the biggest stupid mistake I did what to wear that condom again now I don't remember if she removed full or partially but eventually I know that surely I put it back on. after that Vaginal Penetration lasted for around 1-2 minutes if I remember correctly so at this point I don't know whether the condom slipped during penetration or withdrawal but definitely was not there on me when withdrawn and I did finish on her not in her.
now I am highly anxious as the country where I live does not allow to openly speak on this matter and definitely no PEP option available.

please help me analyze my risk and guide me to the testing.

is PCR RNA testing accurate if so when can I do after possible exposure. Also are these tests or any HIV tests accuracy affected by COVID 19 vaccine.

Thank you in advance for your kind help and assessment.

Thank you

As long as the urethra was covered with the condom there is no risk.

It is certain that you are anxious and it's leading you to think in multiple ways which is causing your paranoia. Whatever the cause of your anxiety is needs to be addressed and that can be done by a counselor. As far as HIV is concerned, since you are confident there was no unprotected penetration, there is no risk associated.

Dear Mike

I am not certain for the last minute of penetration if I was protected or no because when I withdrew I saw that condom was not on me so I really don't know if I was protected or no for that 1 minute.
Condom slippage events are mostly unharmful in context to HIV transmission as it is seen that it occurs due to the penis becoming flaccid post ejaculation. It's not difficult to guess that you were protected during penetration, you wore a condom and it ensured your safety.

If you are still concerned, take a IV/V generation of HIV test at the 28th day from the date of your incident. A negative at that point is conclusive, the odds are weighed heavily in your favour, I can foresee a negative.
I had not ejaculated when I withdrew I saw that condom is not there so I ejaculated outside.
yes I will definitely take a test. please help me by letting me know can I take a pcr rna test on 7-10 days and what will be the accuracy.
Your event doesn't warrant a NAT/PCR test. It is recommended for high risk individuals that have shared needles or had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse with a confirmed positive partner.

For your low-to-no risk event please pursue the test as suggested earlier. Should you still need more information about testing please consult with your doctor.
Dear Mike

Thank you for your response and patience.
only thing fear is killing me that's why fell back here after 17 years. I just hope all goes well.

It's been more than 10 years and we are yet to see a person turning positive from an event like yours on this forum. If you ask me? Personally, I feel you have to address your guilt, now whatever that's causing it. You are going to be okay. Since this is an HIV prevention forum, I am compelled to tell you that you have been offered the best we can from here in context to HIV and there is nothing left to be desired.

We wish you good luck.

So I did get a chance to talk to the sw and she said when I withdrew the condom was half in and half out. so I am a bit relived on that end but as you know for minds like mine only a test can be the best way to be calm

all said it is very kind of you to respond in the way you have knowing the unsteadiness of a mind. I highly appreciate your input

I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what you are saying.  You had unprotected sex?  Or was the head of your penis covered?  As long as the head of your penis is covered, there is no risk of HIV transmission.  Kissing and unprotected oral are not risks (air and saliva inactivate the virus, only risks are unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles).  So, not sure what you are saying exactly happened.  A one time unprotected sex exposure is extremely LOW risk of a transmission rate of LESS than 1%.  So, very unlikely in worst case scenario that you would have gotten HIV from this.  Best case, your penis was covered.  I'd wait until 28 days and get an HIV Duo test if you are concerned the head of your penis was uncovered.

But I would really not be worried.
Dear

For most of the time I was protected just in middle I don't know why the sw decided to remove the condom but what mistake I make was to put back the same condom. after I put it back again I penetrated again for 2 minutes but when I withdrew I saw the condom was not there it was not very deep but inside of her. I dint get a chance to see wether the condom was hanging out so therefore I am not sure whether it slipped off while withdrawal or while penetration. therefore I am highly anxious.
All of my advice stays the same.  The head of your penis was likely covered.  In the off chance it wasn't, test at 28 days with a DUO test but I would not worry you got HIV from this.  In the MOST likely scenarios, it's still LESS THAN 1PERCENT CHANCE OF TRANSMISSION.    Read that, less than 1 percent chance.  Yes, you are clearly highly anxious and hyper focusing.  I'd bet my right arm, my left arm and both legs you would not get HIV from your encounter.  But we weren't there so if you feel like the head of your penis wasn't covered during vaginal, get tested at 28 days with a duo.  That's ALL anyone is going to tell you.  I personally would not worry and you should seek help with anxiety if it plagues you often.
