Can I get HIV from simple (recieving) head-only anal penetration?

I've recently tried having sex with another man for the first time in my life.  Key word: tried.  After some foreplay, he got on top of me and started pushing in; only managed the tip before I decided it hurt too much and wasn't ready, and he pulled out.

This is a more recent friend - not overly close (first mistake) but we'd been talking and flirting for months.  When he pushed in, he wasn't wearing a condom.  While we were doing foreplay, I didn't notice any pre, but I'm not sure that means there is none.  Said friend assures me he is clean, but he also says he had one, maybe two unprotected encounters since his last test, and one protected encounter, though he assures me that those friends were clean.

Maybe it's the first-time jitters, but I've been freaking out ever since.  I don't know what the odds of being infected are or if I should get tested or what.  I don't have coverage, and I am reliant on others for transportation who I don't want to divulge any sensitive information about my life to.  I'm afraid and I'm losing my mind.

But do require your partners to use a condom in such situations if you decide to repeat them.  Don't take no for an answer.  If you are interested in someone who admits to frequent unprotected sex, lose interest.

What about infrequent unprotected sex?
You mention infrequent, so I assume you are looking for guidance for the future, but only a test after it is too late can calculate what fate had in mind for you if you choose to go unprotected.  If you plan to continue risky behavior then your question is odd, considering you expressed fear at the thought of a harmless test. Otherwise if you asked because you are uncertain of your present status, there is zero reason to procrastinate because the agony of not knowing never ends and it is best to be on medication sooner rather than later if you are positive. Worrying while negative or positive will just waste time.
Fair point.  Honestly, I don't know why I asked that question.  I guess I was in a weird and panicky place.

While it is possible to transmit HIV in this manner, the odds are astronomically low.  You're as likely to win the Powerball jackpot as you are to get HIV from such a brief encounter.

Thank you very much for this.  The only information I could find on the subject all seemed to just say "GET TESTED" which only helped heighten my worry.  Knowing that the odds are highly against such an infection from such a brief encounter puts me at ease.
