Chance of getting infected

Hi, I am an old member of this website and I know the ways of getting infection, but yesterday I tried to have an unprotected sex with my girlfriend, she told me she had hiv and hepatitis tests last month because she had an surgery for appendix, my penis was in her vagina for few seconds like 5 seconds, and I couldn't continue the sex and we stopped it.
I went to a clinic and the doctor gave me PeP
I used the first dose 2 hours after the incident, she assured me she had test and she didn't have sex with anyone except me. But I don't know I can trust or not.
Do I need to continue using Pep?

I visit a Hiv clinic in our city, the doctor didn't tell anything and gave me PEP for another 26 days.

I find it hard to believe that a qualified professional recommended you PEP with out determining the serostatus of your partner. Moreover, your partner doesn't seem to be from a high risk group, PEP was unwarranted.

Based on a fair assessment, given the above factors and a brief one time exposure, you don't qualify got PEP. Perhaps, you should see an infectious disease specialist and get a second opinion on PEP.

A simple duo test at 28 days is all you need. I foresee a negative.

You mean in STD centers they don't count my status as a high risk ?
No. High risk is unprotected anal or vaginal sex with someone with confirmed, known HIV+. Your girlfriend tested negative and you have no reason to believe she has HIV in the first place.
