Condom broke with possible high risk HIV partner

1 day ago I had sex with a guy and the condom broke. He never ejaculated, and we stopped not long after it broke, but I have since found out that he had unprotected sex with locals in Africa a month ago.

I was on my period at the time which I have read increases the chances.

What are the chances of me catching HIV and what can I do to prevent anything happening in these early stages?

One-time  brief occurrences rarely lead to infections, bur that doesn't mean it does not happen,  PEP is up to you.

If you choose not to take PEP, take a DUO test at 28 days
