Condom tear with Vietnamese sex worker

Recently I went with a Vietnamese sex worker on a business trip in china. Despite being protected upon finishing we noticed the semen wasn't in the condom. I examined the condom and there was a half inch year at the top. Immediately I became alarmed but tried to console myself that hopefully this only happened towards the end otherwise it likely would have split through further. I'm unsure of overall time and overall how exposed I was with the tear. Four to five days after exposure I developed headache which has lasted 10 days. It's like migraine and gets worse through the day. I can eat but my stomach is hurting so bad that I get slightly nauseous and even was almost sick one morning. My anxiety is killing me and as a married man I like many have stated am having trouble looking at my wife, feel like break down crying for being so irresponsible and putting our relationship at risk. I trust much of what I see and read on here but the advice I gather is from a US perspective and Europe - not Asia. The fact this girl was Vietnamese worries me and though she said she had test last month I can't really believe this. I went to STD clinic yesterday and the practitioner said while low exposure, still an exposure so to test at 4 weeks. She said that indeed there have been positive tests in her clinic from both single exposures and from those wearing condoms that didn't break - stating that condoms only have 85-95% success. Irrespective mine had a tear at the top and though I don't believe my entire head was exposed a part of it very well may have been. Impossible to verify either I realise. She says my symptoms are not that of HIV or she doesn't feel. That said it doesn't help my anxiety as I never feel like vomiting and this migraine headache has become unbearable. I had a slight diarrhoea as well. This has set alarm bells off that I'm seroconverting and today is day 16 since exposure and the headaches began on day 4. It's a little better but I know my anxiety is making it worse. No fever btw or other symptoms like sore throat or rash, lymph nodes etc... Would be interested in view points and anyone specifically who is more familiar with this region as I fear that HIV is much more common out here. Also the seroconversion and if anyone had similar who tested positive? I've been recommended to test in 2 weeks at one month taking a 20 min test. Admittedly I am a mess and the thought of waiting another two weeks is enough to drive me crazy as I can't even concentrate or function at work. I'm quiet and even my wife is asking why. I want so bad to tell her as I need her emotional support but fear it will impact things terribly if I come out of this ok. Thanks in advance..

Thanks for the help and support. I tested negative for HIV today after 1 mth Will follow up at three for conclusive but am confident this is accurate as are my doctors. It's been a tough ride and clear that anxiety can present physical symptoms. I didn't believe it was possible but the mind is more powerful than i'd imagined. I've not been in a good place and feel for anyone going through the same thing or impacted by HIV and aids in some way. Nobody on earth deserves to face this and my heart goes out to those who are living with it on a daily basis. You are strong, courageous and I pray that someday we will rid humanity of such terrible obstacles in the path of life...

We don't discuss symptoms because HIV has no specific symptoms.

Appreciate your prompt response and certainly you've answered part of my query - the only other part is whether these symptoms would be characteristic of someone who perhaps was going through seroconversion irrespective of my particular circumstances? Thanks in advance

No you cannot seroconvert that early.

Thank you. What about the symptoms? I have definitely had stomach bug and headache which has led to some nausea and one morning vomit. Perhaps I know the answer to this but will ask anyhow - can you seroconvert from 4 days post exposure until the 2 week period? I still have migraine and tension headache and have just passed 2 week exposure.

If the head of your penis remained covered, you did not have an exposure.
