Confused about how condoms fails

Hello, i'll start about my expossure. It was a brief episode of cunnilingus and protected vaginal sex with a prostitute. Like it was with a prostitute I began to feel guitl about it and started to fear an HIV infection. I had some negative test 3 and 6 months, but I still fear that i'm infected. I've been reading this forum and other and i've read that when condom fails it's obvious, like they shred, but also I've read some people who said that they found their condoms with small tears or holes, so i don´t know which one belive, the ones who say that condoms fails catastrophically or the others who say that it's possible that condoms get small tears/holes which are difficult to see.
I hope somenone could help, because i'm living with fear.

The rumor about small tears or holes in condoms is a myth. It doesn't actually happen in reality. Condoms are designed to split wide open when they fail, making it totally obvious that it broke.

Regardless of that, your 3 and 6 month tests are more than enough proof that you are HIV negative. HIV tests are among the most accurate and sensitive of all tests available in any laboratory. There is zero reason for you to believe that the results are inaccurate.
