Could hiv cause leg pains for 2-3 months

So I’ve been having these leg pains and twitches for like 3 months now. Possible exposure would of been almost 4 months ago. I’ve also had a rash like feeling mainly in my groin creases and in between my butt cheeks but there is absolutely no redness or rash there. It also occurs on my sides where my pants meet my hips and my belly. It all feels like jock itch or like chaffing. I’ve been to the doctor twice and both times they said it’s a yeast infection from multiple antibiotics I’ve been on I’ve last few months.

Would hiv symptoms last this long? Could it all just be anxiety? I’m going to go get tested hopefully soon, just haven’t had the money with Christmas right around the corner.

HIV is not diagnosed by symptoms and the doctors have a plausible explanation for your yeast infections.  Recurrence can happen. Are you taking care of yourself?  Getting a multi vitamin each day, sleeping well and reducing stress? These will help your immune system and hence, your yeast overgrowth. HIV is only transmitted by unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing of IV drug needles.  That's it.  If you participated in those activities, then you can test any time from 28 days on with a 4th gen test for a conclusive result.

Why haven't you gotten treated for the yeast infection?  Go see a dermatologist.

You don;t even know if you had sex that night, and being drunk you likely didn't. You can take any test now for a conclusive result instead of 100% wasting your time agonizing over this every day with zero information. HIV can only be diagnosed from a test, not from studying the body.
