Did I get HIV? Symptoms

I'm worried to death... 13 days ago I kissed a stranger (a gay man) for about 5 minutes. I don't know his HIV status and I don't know if his mouth was bleeding or if he had any sores. When I came back home, I washed my mouth with a mouthwash product and I realised I had a sore throat and a sore tongue (I had burnt my tongue with hot food the day before). He refused to get tested, he seems not to be a person who tells the truth, in fact he seems very promiscous.

I am extremely worried I could have gotten HIV from him through my sores in my mouth and throat. Is it possible for me to get HIV this way?

I know in most sites it says that the risk is very small but I think I have been experiencing the ARS symptoms. These symptoms have been:

1) Headache during the day
2) Painful neck
3) Painful jaw
4) Night sweats (I get damp but not soaked) with chills until I get dry - I have had no fever though
5) Fatigue
6) Weight loss
7) Extreme anxiety

Unfortunately, my doctor advised me not to take PEP and I don't know if that was a mistake.

I regret so much :'(

I'm too stressed, I'm going crazy.

Please help me!!

I wrote to my Doctor, he read the message but didn't reply... I guess he didn't answer because my symptoms don't sound good and he might prefer to see me in person :'(

I'm worried because I never saw his mouth at all, it was kind of dark... The come the "what ifs" what if he was bleeding or had recent dental work...

Would it be a good idea to take a PCR test on the 15th day after the possible exposure? Would it be accurate result?

You had no risk for HIV and do not need to test.

Your other symptoms could be related to a bacterial or viral infection......or anxiety.........or all three.

You said your doctor advised against taking PEP and that was good advice. But.........since you've seen a doctor, did you not discuss all these other symptoms?

I think since you are so anxious, another visit to your doctor to address these symptoms would go a long way to relieve your anxiety.
