Dig ears with the same swab

My friends and I go to the bathroom, the waiter help we dig the ear with My friends and I go to the bathroom, the waiter swab help we dig the ear with a swab. He give my friend service first, then immediately is me. after he dug by the same a swab to me immediately dig. I fear that if a swab had blood on it , then my ears were injured, have a risk?Because the light is very dark I'm not sure.

Today I suddenly recall, that day I feel pain when the waiter to dig my ear. I think,the  mucosa in the ear, might get hurt.His blood in a swab,and no dry up. Can you give me an explanation?
