Does PEP treatment cause delayed sero conversion?

Hello,

Back in January I took a course of pep which I finished without missing any doses. I tested negative with a 4th generation hiv blood test 4 weeks following the pep completion. My doctor assured me I was fine and no additional testing was warranted. Here it is 3 months post pep, 4 months post exposure and I've come down with a terrible spring time flu. My question is does pep treatment delay sero conversion? If so, would it delay it for this long? I have not had any additional potential exposures. Thank you.
