Duo test risk

Hi,
Not sure why my post keeps being removed.

Wondering if anyone knew If the duo test at 28 days is dependant on the risk? Basically is a higher risk not conclusive at 28 days, and is it only so for a low risk exposure?

Thanks

Probably because you were already answered way back here: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/HIV-testing---anxiety-or-right-to-be-worried/show/3000268

It makes absolutely no difference what the risk was.

Thankyou CurfewX. I know I posted earlier but just wanted clarity. That’s all. I’d read in a post on here from a few years ago and one of the doctors had advised that after a high risk exposure in certain circumstances a repeat duo maybe advised 7-10 days after the initial 28 day Duo. That made me worry about the accuracy and exposure risk.
Last question I promise. If I’ve had a negative lab duo at 38 days post exposure - is that accurate and conclusive regardless of a high risk/exposure/other person being HIV+??
Yes. The end.  You are negative.  Time to move on from this event.
