HIV test results mix up?

Hello everyone. What are the chances that my test results were that of somebody else's? The reason I ask is because my results have a "report date" that is three days after I saw them in the office. I got a whole blood work up done as well as STD panel. It says collected on the 8th and then reported on the 13th, but I saw them on the 11th (they had to fax them to my doctors office while I was there because the STD results were not back yet but the other basic blood stuff was). So since they didn't have them, they contacted Quest and they faxed them over within 20 minutes or so.

Basically, any reason for this mix up? Thank you.

Hi there,

It's not likely that anyone here would know why the dates on your test don't match up. Your best bet would be to call the lab and ask for an explanation.
