Fingering, HIV, anxiety and... trolls??

I'm suffering some anxiety (as I am prone to do) over a recent encounter in which I fingered a woman of unknown HIV-status. There was no other activity, no active bleeding, etc. Just clitoral stimulation with occasional finger penetration, and nothing more than a bit of dried skin/small hangnail on any of my fingers. Now, I'm aware that this is a negligible risk situation. However, my OCD can occasionally lead me to search obsessively for reassurance, which led me to this thread:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV---Prevention/Fingering-Frottage-Potential-Penetration-during-menstruation/show/2003141

By a user named Whyme0831 who swears up and down that he contracted HIV with his only risk being cuts on his fingers and "possible" brief penetration.

I would love to get others' opinions on this exchange between "Whyme0831" and Dr. Hook. Is this person a troll? Are there actually people who come here and make things up to get off? Or is that guy actually correct in that maybe this is a real mode of transmission that is generally lost in the noise of other activities?

Would love to get some other opinions, as it was very unnerving to stumble across.

Thanks

And read it carefully. Even the one posting is saying "i cannot deny if there was no penetration". This guy is just in denial that he had penetrative sex.

Fingering is zero risk. Well onething you need to understand. People often have misconceptions on how they were infected. Example you had unprotected sex with close friends and one time protected sex with a csw. You will probably think you got hiv with protected sex with a csw. But the fact remains that you have had multiple partners and unprotected sex. Having said that. People also lie. And is in denial after a recent diagnosis. Anyway fingering is zero risk! And if you read the post carefully even everyone even the doctor that gave him the test says it can only be acquired by penetrative sex.

Hey paranoid, thanks for weighing in. I'm feeling better. That guy's post just got my mind spinning (it's like a hamster wheel in there :).
