Hi all,
I'm a gay man living in Indonesia,
Last week, I gave a handjob to a stranger. He asked me to edge him, so I complied. After an hour, we ran out of lubes and as I tried to squeeze the last drop of lubes from the bottle, I cut my index finger.
I didn't realize that I cut my finger, so I continued to give the handjob. But then I realized a reddish spot in my index finger and I immediately stop. The wound started to bleed and I ran to the bathroom and clean my hand in running water.
I am afraid that his precum might enter my open wound since I have no idea that my hand got cut by the lubricant bottle, and it was a fresh, bleeding, open wound. I saw that parts of my skin was removed and I can see the next layer of my skin in the wound.
Am I at risk of infection? If his precum entered my wound without me noticing it? Since it was a fresh bleeding wound?
Thank you.
The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.
If you don't do either of those activities with someone whose HIV status is unknown to you, or who is HIV+, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.
