Generalized Swollen Lymph Nodes during/post PEP

First, thanks so much for providing this forum.  I'm a bit lost right now and after making one terrible decision and putting myself at risk with a unknown but likely + partner without protection I am freaking out.

The incident happen nearly 6 weeks ago.  two days after I felt some slight swelling of the lymph nodes in my neck (similar to swelling I've felt before when having a cold or sinus infection) and finally mustered up the courage to run to the nearest urgent care office and get on PEP.  It was around 65 hours post-incident when I started my PEP. My baseline testing came back negative and I was put on Combivir and Sustiva.

I seemed to handle the PEP okay, but noticed that the lymph nodes my neck continued to get more and more swollen.  At two weeks I noticed the lymph nodes in my groin started to swell as well.  Other than that I felt pretty normal.  No fever, no rashes, etc.

At 25 days post exposure I went in to see an infectious disease doc.  It wasn't quite 4 weeks, but she went ahead and did an antibody test and PCR test as well as test for everything else. All were negative. It took a week to get the results back and by that time I had just finished my PEP.  I also noticed at that time (day 30/31, right at end of 28 day PEP) that the lymph nodes in my armpits were starting to swell a little as well.  I had not heard back from the doctor yet and in a panic I ran to the pharmacy to grab an Oraquick Rapid test.  The Oraquick result at 31 days was negative.

I'm headed back in to do a 6 week follow up on Monday.  Knowing that the results will again likely take a week I decided to do another Oraquick test yesterday (day 39.5 post exposure, 9 days post PEP) which also came back negative.

I understand that conclusive testing is at 3 months post exposure, but my questions are below:

1) If my generalized lymph node swelling was due to HIV infection shouldn't I be producing antibodies at this point regardless of PEP?
2) from my research it seems ARS seems to normally last 2-4 weeks. The lymph nodes in my neck have been swollen for almost 6 weeks, my groin for at least 4. Should I be worried about any other diseases?
3) Have you witnessed PEP (Combivir, Sustiva) causing swollen lymph nodes? What about stress?
4) assuming my blood tests are negative at 6 weeks would you agree that the odds of HIV infection are reduced by 99%?
5) are there any other specific questions I should be asking my doc?

Thanks so much for your help and feedback. I'm trying to stay positive, but the regret and anxiety are crushing my soul at the moment.

Thanks V. Yeah, from what I've read it would be odd to only have this swelling w/out a few other ARS symptoms. Still, it's not making this any easier.  As you can imagine the stress is crippling me. Additionally, the guilt of putting myself in this situation is almost equally unbearable.

Regardless of the outcome this event is forcing me to make some dramatic changes.

Please feel free to send any available positive vibes my way.

1. You would have other symptoms also
2. You should speak to a Dr about that
3. Can't answer
4. 3 months is concluisve, 6 weeks is a good indication
5. Not that I can think of
