HIV 12 Week Test Conclusive with a possible weak immune system ?

Hello

I took a Hiv Duo test 12 weeks after my exposure which came back negative.
But i also heard about the delayed seroconversion for people with weak immune system.

The thing is which gets me freaked out is that i have seborrheic dermatitis since 11 years.
I also read that one of the causes for seborrheic dermatitis is a weak immune system or immune defiancy.

My question is if i have a weak immune system or immune defiancy will this make my hiv test not conclusive ?
Do i need to test out again at 6 months ?

Thanks alot

Good Morning Mike.

Yesterday i had a blood test for a another reason. On the test i saw that my WBC count was low (3.96) the indicated normal range on the paper said it should be between 4.23-9.07.
I guess that means my immune sytem is low and im wondering it this would effect the hiv test.

I was tested negative at 12 weeks.
Is this conclusive with my WBC count or do i need to test out again at 6 months ?.

Thanks alot

You don't have a weak immune system. Your WBC has absolutely nothing to do with the results of your HIV test. You've tested conclusively negative. You do not have HIV. You need to put this behind you and move on.
Hello

Thanks for your comment.
Are you sure that 3.97 is not low ? The test paper writes it has to be within 4.23-9.07 so this means mine is low.
And as far as i understood WBC indicates how strong your immune system is.

Basically what i wanted to understand is having a low WBC for example my case 3.97 would the hiv test be still conclusive at 12 weeks post exposure ?
It's not necessary to repeat your question. Please reread my reply because the answer will not change. Move on with your life, you do not have HIV.
Thanks alot Chima7.

Great advice from mike.  Thorough and you should accept and believe that.  You've tested negative and I'd trust that result.

You have tested conclusively negative. Practically, if you are not on chemotherapy for cancer treatment you can't be worried about delayed sero-coversion.

Seb Derm has nothing to do with your body's capability of antibody production. In fact, it is seen a lot of times that seborrheic dermatitis is more of a hormonal or genetic issue and is triggered due to stress, anxiety or any other relevant triggers. See a dermatologist for your problem, get ample vitamin D and most importantly, just relax.

Google is funny, if you put two keywords together it will crank out a correlation for everything somehow. It's is important that you stop relying on these web searches. Accept your result and move on. If you are unable to accept your negative, please see a counselor for seeking help.
Thanks alot for your answer Mike
