HIV RISK?

Hey hope someone can help me.

I picked up a street hooker almost one year ago (she was addicted to drugs and was homeless) i had oral sex and vaginal sex with her with a condom that she provided. I think she poked a pin hole in the condom. Will I get HIV if the condom had a pin hole? Is HIV test accurate after one year? Thanks

Getting HIV through pinholes is a popular myth, but a myth nonetheless.  HIV doesn't infect people via "microtears" or pinholes, and it's not easy to get infected with HIV.  The head of your penis (and our urethra) would need to be exposed during intercourse, and that only happens if the condom has broken wide open.  Pregnancy can happen via condom leaks, but not HIV infection.

Also, there's no purpose in her providing a condom for you if she was just going to poke a hole in it anyway.

Thanks man for answering..

She was a drug addicted and homeless and the area where I picked her up is very sketchy so I’m just worried she would poke a hole in it to give me HIV

Hey,

So condoms give you excellent protection against HIV.

Why do you think she poked an hole in the condom. It makes no sense to me why would she provide the condom to sabotage it.

Either way even if compromised the chances of getting HIV is low anyway.

Finally if you test now after a test it will be 100% conclusive but you can absolutely expect negative results.
