Could I be positive?....please help!

I had unprotected sex....high risk...I had numerous symptoms after two weeks, some still with me after 9 months. I tested every month with 3rd generation test. I recently did a pcr rna test with quest diagnostics one week ago.....today I received a call that I have to go into the lab because quest diagnostics require that I send more blood for testing. My blood was sent overseas to get the test done at quest diagnostics. when the phlebotomist draw the blood she filled two tubes, so I'm baffled. Why would they want more blood? Could it be they detected the virus and wants to run the test again to confirm. I thought my test I did was conclusive....could I be a late seroconverter who don't create antibodie....someone please answer

Why are you keeping on testing like that? Are you continuing high risk behavior? Stop doing high risk stuff and use protection if you aren’t married or in a monogamous relationship. Also, why are you doing those at home tests. You need to go to an actual clinic for that and there are many free clinics that do STD testing.

Some people have anxiety which drives them to continue to test.  It is a waste of time and money and brain power but their minds full of anxiety will not allow them accept it.  He does not need to go to a free clinic or do more testing. Home tests are accurate at the point in which he took it. He does not have HIV.
Hey Marcia83, all my test was done at a clinic using a 3rd generation rapid test.....I did one 4th generation test by quest diagnostics...I  keep  testing because of my many symptoms.....im still experiencing muscle twitching, diarrhea (once a day), itchy boils on skin, rumbling tummy
and more. I wanted to rule out me being a seronegative case so I did a pcr rna test but now I'm extremely afraid of the outcome. I haven't been engaged in any high risk situation since. I have a lovely faithful wife....which i decide to have sex with 5  months after my exposure (I thought I was in the clear). Anyhow she too is experiencing weird symptoms.

Your timeline is not clear.
Please provide clearly the date of exposure and the dates of the tests as well as the type of test.

The date of exposure was April 17th
You have way overtested and more than proven that you do not have HIV. Your so called symptoms are irrelevant because true ARS symptoms never last this long. And it's also not possible to test negative while experiencing actual true ARS. Therefore you're HIV negative.
Thanks for replying Chima72 ......Why does quest diagnostics require more blood.....I read online they only repeat the pcr rna if the virus is detected in high amounts just to be certain.
You'll have to ask the lab because I have no idea. But it has nothing to do with HIV since you have OVER tested and confirmed that you are HIV negative already.

8 negative tests, what a gigantic waste of money and time! Instead you should've invested in counseling for your irrational health anxiety related to HIV. I strongly advise you to seek out a counselor now because it's far past time for you to begin therapy for this problem.
Thanks Chima7....I went to get my blood draw for the further pcr rna testing  today and I did a quick rapid test...negative....so I'm going to take your advise and relax. I will update you when I receive my results. Thanks for your help
